Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum, although I've been a member for some years. Having problems with hba1c levels. Recently told my hba1c was 79 down from 93.
I know my diet needs help!.. Can anyone advise a good low carb diet plan or where to look for one that really works. My medication at present for diabetes is:

2x metformin 500mg twice a day
1x Sitagliptin 100mg one a day

I also take medication for a heart condition:

Aspirin 75mg one a day
Bisoprolol 2.5mg one a day
Ramipril 5mg one a day
Ramipril 2.5mg one a day

thank you
Salmonleap

Sorry if I have misunderstood but down to 79 from 93 is an improvement rather than a problem.

That is a good drop. Well done. :)

If you have been a member for a while, you may have seen links to Diet Doctor, which is a good site for ideas on low carbing.
Here is the link again

Are you testing your meals to see if you are eating too many carbs? If you don't have a meter, then I urge you to buy one or you are working blind.
