I started pump therapy in March, I took to it like a duck to water.
My hba1c was 68mmol pre pump, it fluctuated, and that was a better result!
Today it is 53mmol. I'm over the moon. It takes time tweaking basal rates etc, being patient and waiting for patterns and putting up with highs to understand the patterns.
I'm actually shocked it's come back at 53mmol. I've had surgery which caused weeks of erratic results, and also other health problems which has thrown control out the window. But, I've worked hard to get things in control throughout, the TBR is a fantastic option to quickly fix temporary problems.
