Breathe certainly, relax - be cautious. You are certainly going in the right direction but stay vigilant. Congratulations are definitely in order.
Google fat bombs to satisfy sweet cravings.
I have loads of fat bombs in freezer. Just couldn’t get on with them.
Had some dark chocolate but only wanted sweet.
Ate beef jerky
Fridge raiders (disgusting but low carb and food)
Ate more today than I usually do in a week I think but stayed from sweets.
Although fighting the cravings lasted from 9.45 this morning to well, still there. Will be glad to go to bed to get some respite.
When I was first diagnosed my level was 87.
Had first blood test last Friday and result today was 58!!!
Now I want to celebrate.
I am craving sweets like never before. In fact I would kill for a sweet. Just went into sainsbury and picked some up then threw them down and came out!!
Apparently I have decided because I’m nearly normal again I can relax!!
And breathe!
you are normal when your HbA1c is under 36,
so don´t celebrate too fast
if you want the taste of sugar sucralose tastes almost like real sugar, it is expensive but it is also not that healthy ..here below you can see the normal range which is only the green area

Well done - a huge improvement. You are well on the way to becoming 'normal '.I know it’s not normal range. But compared to the 87 I started at it’s a huge difference and I’m now not far from the normal range.
I thought anything under 41 was normal? Where did 36 come from?
make some dark chocolate truffles. Double cream and dark chocolate, can also add some almonds to them, chill, roll into balls then roll in ground almonds or cocoa powder. Keep them in the fridge.I have loads of fat bombs in freezer. Just couldn’t get on with them.

I’m wondering if it’s Bernstein, followers of him seem to often quote very low goals
Watch out for those which claim to be sugar free or no added sugar, but are loaded with carbs - you need to read the labels really carefully.Great HbA1c reduction @Cana - well done!
You can get 'sugar free' sweets in Sainsburys, other big supermarkets and health stores. Werthers do sugar free butter candies, there are sugar free Polo mints, and Ricola do a range of sugar free sweets. But they should be eaten in moderation as they can have laxative effects.
well yes from Bernstein and from the color in the above scheme the green area is the truely healthy area, I thibk the scheme is from this site but maybe I am wrong
