Got diagnosed 3 months ago my hba1c was 81 in march and 85 in April so went on a strict diet and lost a lot of weight and was put on Metformin, went for my blood test yesterday and rang up for my results to be told the doctor has them to look at as they are now 29, I was hoping they would be low as my accu chek and my sugr app was predicting that but I was still surprised, it will be interesting to see what the doctor says

I hope your doctor says "Congratulations!"
Congratulations!

Metformin doesn't have a huge effect on HbA1C,
What you eat (and how much) affects your Blood Glucose much more.
Most of us who are in remission from T2D find that a Low Carb way of eating is great for maintaining a non-diabetic HbA1C.
