HBAC1 results

Can these results be false or not food causing the high glucose blood levels.... My HBAC1 result is the only test that's been high since I've been diagnosed.... I even ate some high carb foods to see if I got a spike and I didn't....

What were the results of your HbA1c, and what sort of numbers are you getting on your finger prick tests? And, when are you doing your tests?
 
My hbac1 result was 91... My fasting is 4-6 to 5.2 range... 2 hours after food it's still on the 5.... After I was diagnosed I lost 2 stone and started cycling jogging weight lifting and done serious diet....I ate large carb meal and didn't spike 1-2-3 hour after.... Either what I'm doing is working and fixed it or I didn't have it and something else is causing it,I'm only on one metfirmon tablet a day,the nurse said that isn't even a starting dose and should increase it.
 
That HbA1c is certainly a diabetic score.

I'd suggest you read Professor Taylor's work, on reversing diabetes. The key to his work is de-fatting your liver and pancreas, which is usually done by losing weight. You may have done that for all we know.

Thanks, wouldn't that be a great escape for me if I've managed to be lucky and fortunate enough to have pulled that off
 
Just a thought, where does the LCHF fit in with this unblocking the pancreas and liver of fat.

But, trust me, you still have to be careful. Have you read Professor Taylor's comments about after Newcastle Diet maintenance?

I can't recall where it is in all I have read, but he warns that going back to eating as before would be likely to result in regaining weight, and potentially recrossing the fat threshold. So, even if you have, you're not completely off the hook.
