Hi guys I've recently upgraded my meter to the gluco rx hct and my hct levels are usually between 10% and 20% as far as I know that's a measurement of my red blood cells I bought it up with my consultant last week but he didn't seem interested any ideas as to why this or what tests I should be demanding?

I don't use that meter but I thought the hct was just a way to supposed make your blood glucose result more accurate. Does the instruction manual give any info?

i was in the process of moving and carnt seem to find it I've done the good old doctor google and that says it could be a number of things... but The hct side of it is The hematocrit (/hɪˈmætəkrɪt/) (Ht or HCT), also known by several other names, is the volume percentage (vol%) of red blood cells in blood. but ye what you said is true I remember reading by determining your hct will give you a better result
