Hi i'm type 2 and since i've been prescribed insulin in april i've noticed that everytime i eat my head sweats to the point my hair is dripping, its horrible and very embarrassing especially when eating out in pulbic. Does anyone else have the same problem i've read it could be another symptom to my neuropathy. If you have the same issue how do you manage it and is there anything i can do to help/stop it happening? thanks for reading.

It is called gustatory sweating and is not uncommon with diabetes.

Yes head sweating for years just as you describe it's awful....your gp can px drugs but they are expensive and don't really work for everyone....I was lucky to try them but to no avail and would of had to stop them due to cost...still having a battle to find a treatment that works...sorry you are suffering so much it's really horrid
