Type of diabetes
Type 2
I am type 2 insulin dependent. I had a major operation at the end of last year and since then my levels have been very high. My diabetic nurse has been adjusting my dose and I am now on double what I was on previously (28 units am and 18 units pm). I don’t know if it’s just coincidental but ever since the doses have been increased I have been suffering from dreadful headaches and diarrhoea.

Any advise please.

What sort of numbers are you seeing these days, Buttercup? Very high sugars can bring on headaches for some, I've read.

Has anything else changed since before your op? Have you started on any new meds, even for other things? Have you gained weight, or are you moving around less?

These days, aside from the headaches, are you well in yourself?
