Hi everyone I'm after a bit of advice I'd like to start a family soon but first I have to get my bloods lower and to do that I really need to cut down on my carbs etc I have no idea where to start a typical day is breakfast brown bread toast lunch a cup a soup and tea is a spaghetti bolanase lasagna chow main or chicken any meal ideas or help on what to swap it with would be amazing thanks in advance

Hi juju

Breakfast - eggs/bacon/mushrooms/tomato, cheese omelette, full fat Greek yoghurt and a few berries

Lunch - salami or similar, olives, cheese, salad leaves, avocado, mackerel pate

Dinner - meat or fish with above-ground veg, salad, berries & cream

Just stay clear of bread, pasta, rice and potatoes.

Look for foods which have less than 10g total carbs per 100g, 5g per 100g if you can. '... of which sugar' is irrelevant. The book 'Carbs & Cals' is good.

Thank you is there a app or anything I can download to help me build a shopping list
