heart attack at 43

I have been reading all these posts and am glad that everyone has got through these terrible ordeals. I am a type 1 for 11 years now and all this scares me.
Can i ask everyone who has posted a couple of questions?
What was your HBA1C like pre heart attack / heart disease?
Did you do any excercise and were you 'over weight'? Did any of you smoke?
What was your diet like?

I hope you have a speedy recovery leadingjo.

So i was 30 to 40 cigarettes a day drinking 10 to 15 bottles of beer a night every night.
Fat and no exercise other than walking to the bar.
I work away from home in other countries and my excuse was i did not want to be a hotel prisoner.
and i really have to say this i had a great time getting there.
BUT now is a new time for me. A time where i can hopefully live longer than i was going to.
So now i exercise everyday i don't smoke i have 1 beer a month (sometime maybe even 4) and have changed my diet considerably lost 6.5 stone.
And still scared everyday. Its a head game as well as a body game.
You need help for both.
I still go out to bars but drink tea. i still have fun but not in the same way.

Advice i would give is "don't think it wont happen to you".
