I've been taking 1000mg Metformin plus 80mg twice a day for around 15 years with really good BG management with usually around 5's and no issues but have gained lots of kgs along the way. In January I started LCHF and have lost around 11kgs so far with limiting carbs. Along the way I had quite a few low BG days 2's and 3's so I tried stopping meds for a few days to find BG creeping back up to 9's again. Tried tweaking the meds but seems the only way to keep it stable and within range is to stick with original dosage. Now I find I often get night time heart flutters. If I stop my night dosage the flutters vanish but BG starts to climb again a few days later. Anyone with advice? Could it be the Met or the Glic causing the heart flutters?
