A week ago had insane weather in Hungary, it hit 42 degrees. My morning BG was once 11.0 that time, completely shocked me, during day all between 8-13 BG. Its now back at 25-30 degrees outside, my BG went back to normal too. I guess I react like this to heat... ? Maybe it was something else... First summer with diabetes !

It's my first summer with diabetes too as I was only diagnosed in May, and yes I've found the same! However in the UK we've not had as many hot days as usual this summer and no where near your temperatures!

I'm Type 1 too @miszu and I've had some highs that I think we're caused by the heat too. I've had to increase my basal slightly and adjust one of my meal ratios too.

Thanks everyone, so it was the heat. Funny how many things can mess with our BG.

Not me fortunately. 45 degrees last weekend in Palm Springs, CA passing through. Glad I don't live there!
