Heatwave advice

not much really, apart from dull damp winter days.
Hi all, I've been diagnosed with type 2 for just over 2 years, and this heatwave is the first time I've struggled with my blood sugar. I wear a libre 2 to monitor where I am because I've started working shifts, and this week I've struggled long periods where the I've been between 2.5 and 3.9.
I can eat something and will come back in range but within an hour then levels are falling.
Any advice appreciated
 
If you can check the readings against an actual finger prick - apart from that I'm sorry I don't have any further advice except maybe talk to you DN/GP for advice

Thanks for the reply, finger prick test matches the CGM. I'm managing at the mo by having stuff to bounce it back up. Wife as ordered me some sachets of something to help.
 
what are you having some fast carbs to bring you up then slower? my mum found if low harder to get back up if didnt have something slower acting ontop of faster acting. treat til ok, then slower to stablize.

I'm having the opposite problem. My levels are going up
Even though I m eating less and drinking more

Good advice, I've only been going for fast acting. Although Tuesday I had porridge for breakfast normally that peaks at 9 then drops to 6.5 -7 after 90 mins, Tuesday it went up and down in less than 60 mins I had chicken n.lentil curry with rice and same thing.
I'll try the slow acting carbs after the fast.
