Well its been a few months since i first posted, basically late last year august ish i was diagnosed as type 2 :(
now 1.5 stone lighter blood sugar 3 month test thing came back at 6.2 today :) my cholestrol lvl is up abit to 6.7, probably the remains of xmas. still managing this by diet alone no tablets yet, still waiting to have my eye test :(

anyway with regards to self testing kits i got another 1 today makes 4 now i think, what i am looking for is one that i can conect to my pc via usb to download and save the info into a spreadsheet. has anyone got one that they can recommend?
must be usb as i have no infrared on my pc.

many thanks

Well done you on all those good results. :)

As for meters using USB there are several which use a cable and a USB port. Here is a link to info about meters fro our own Community pages :

The first is the Contour USB. Checkout the others.

Personally I use a Lifescan OneTouch UltraSmart which connects via a USB and the software, which is a free download has a multitude of functions which negates the need for spreadsheets. The meter itself can display graphs and loads more. Great device.
