I was diagnosed of type 2 diabetes ( medicated induce diabetes) after my treatment of HCV in NOv. 2013. At present , i am on insulin of Novomix 50, but due to shortage of supply in Delhi, i shifted to Novomix 30 penfil. But theinsulin seems not effeictive to me. Do i need to change the dose on changing the insulin.

Hi, Welcome :)

Someone clever will be along shortly that can help you out, when you say ineffective, how do you mean?

Hi it can be difficult with mixed insulins to guess what changes might be needed. It sounds like a small increase is needed. Get advice from a nurse or GP if you can but if not then consider increasing the dosages very slightly a bit each day and checking your blood sugar to avoid hypos. are you also having a low-carb diet. Although you say your diabetes was medically induced keeping the carbs down will also help with the insulin

Hi every one,
I think everyone should take medical insurance to reduce the risk of death.

I think you may be an insurance spammer taking out insurance will not alter the risk of ANYTHING, It merely provides monetary recompense for the occurrence thereof
