Hi there
My name is Harry and I am new to this forum. I am 51 years young and have been type 2 diabetic for 13 years. I am interested in trying the Newcastle diet as a way to drastically lowering my blood sugars as I am facing massive foot re-constructive surgery in about 6 weeks time. I have already lost part of one foot due to diabetic ulcers and am keen to keep the remaining toes that I have!!
With regards to the Newcastle diet it would be great to hear from others who have tried it and let me know the successes or failures they have experienced. Also, does anyone know if you can use Soya milk with the milkshakes? I realise it states no dairy produce so wondered if this was an alternative.
Many thanks
Harry
