My name is Katrin. I am not diabetic, but my best friend has had this disease for many years. And it's like a torture to look at his sufferings. He has tried a lot of treatments but still failed to find anything effective. The disease is progressing day by day and he is in despair and can't enjoy life. I'm here to find some pieces of advice regarding diabetes and effective ways of the treatment which would help my friend.

You do not say what type of diabetes your friend has?

There is a sticky on this board that is for newly diagnosed and it may be worth while looking at it as it may help diet wise.

Ask any questions, there is always someone around to answer.
