I don't like mean people. People who put others down, Big Ego a no go. You must be a giver of the heart and sincere with love. Treat others with respect and don't take **** from nobody.
I am almost 31 years old. I am from America in Texas but do love this site. I was told I was late adult onset type one 7 years ago. I went form pills to full on insulin in 6 months. I then went to the pump. All these years without a diabetes doctor. I have gained 40 pounds. Have been sick and down for years. With three kids I have found a way to strive. I seen a diabetes doctor for the first time in my life last month. To my surprise. He put me on Lantus, metformin, and apidra sliding scale and took me completely off the pump. He thought my weight gain was strange and ordered some test. I go back yesterday to find out that My pancreas is still making insulin. I got some meds upped but my sugars are still high 200's low 300's. He put me on a shot once weekly called bydureon. I took my first shot last night. He says it is possible that I can beat diabetes. I was shocked. His goal is to get me off a sliding scale insulin. I am happy to talk with anyone on here in regards to their lives. I am happy to join a community of people who understand. I know there are risk with Bydureon. I woke today to a heavy headache and have been feeling nauseated. Let me know if you have lost weight on Bydureon once weekly injection. Ty.
