Hi everyone, I'm John and a type one since about 2009. Since then I've only had 2/3 diabetic incidents (BG 0.8 after 50 units NovoRapid - oops…) but am doing much better now HbA1c about 7.7%.
Also, I am going into 3rd year (in September) of a child nursing degree hoping to specialise in intensive care nursing so might be seeing some of the new diabetics in Scotland.

Hello John, there is a fair amount of us Scots on here. That's brilliant that your doing nursing, there is a lack of male nurses, respect! Anyway, hope you have fun here. Its a great resource I think.
