Hi everyone:)
I am a Type 1 Diabetic and have been for 22 years now.
In my experience Diabetes has been an interesting ride so far and I have been through some ups and some horrible downs.
I believe no matter how long you have had a condition, you can always learn something new.
Hope your all as well as can be and I look forward to chatting and learning :joyful:

Hi Chri5 and thank you. Yes I hope I have a lot to offer but one thing I have learnt is we are all different and no bodies Diabetes is the same. Hope your well :)

22 Years! Wow! Yes you would learn from all that time. Congratulations.

Yes, I cant believe how long its been myself to be honest! lol. I was 12 when I was diagnosed, apparently the doctors think I had Diabetes for 3 months before I found out. Back in 1993 Diabetes wasn't really spoken about and not many people knew of the symptoms.
