First time on this site. I was diagnosed with type 2 about 4 months ago and put on pills.The pills didn't work and they found that my pancreas was not working and put me on insulin. I'm feeling much better but my question is am I type 1or2. I don't really care but some people seem confused if I say I'm a type 2 that takes insulin. hope everyone is having a goodday fergie26.
 
You need to check back with your HCP's as to what type you actually are. We have no way of knowing.

1. A Type 1 who HAS to take Insulin.
OR
2. A Type 2 who uses Insulin.

It is very important that you are sure, it makes a big difference, especially when you ask for any advice.
