- How old are you? - 64 recently
- Are you male or female? - Male
- Which country are you from? - UK
- Which city/area do you live in? - near Ipswich in the countryside in a sleepy village
- Are you religious? - not really. Brought up a devout Catholic. Alter boy, so mass three times a week including Wednesday evening. Lost my faith at fifteen and it has never come back. Still intensely curious about the universe but don't think God could possibly exist at the moment.
- Pick three words to describe your personality. - pedantic, accurate, caring
- Do you have any pets? - Jess the wonder Welsh border collie. She was thoruoghly abused by a man before we got her at age of three. A creepy crawly thing of submissiveness in the morning. Poor sod. She is getting better over time but I must still be endlessly patient with her. She is really my wifes dog. I am merely tolerated.
- Microsoft or Apple? - # linux actually. It's free and works. The internet runs on it, as does the cloud generally. Even MS Azure is a linux product at heart.
- Which sport(s) (if any) do you like/play? - I walk now but enjoyed rugby and weight lifting and swimming, was quite an all rounder many years ago.
- Do you get angry easily? - Yep. Stupid but true.
- Do you have any tattoos or piercings? If so, where? - Nope
- List your five favourite musicians/bands. - Blondie, FleetwoodMac, Ray Charles, Duffy, Michael Buble
- What would you say your favourite music genre is? - anything light that has discernable lyrics
- What is your favourite flag? - The Union Jack
- Ever gone camping? - Yes. It was fun in a grubby way
- Ever been in love? - about five times. Always very intensely. Hook line and sinker. Luckily met my wife in 1997 and now have a lovely loving relationship.
- Ever used fake tan? - No
- Which countries have you visited? - Malaya, Libya, Gan, US, Cyprus, Iraq, France, Germany and Belgium. Might have forgotten one or two.
- Favourite city? - Bath center is hard to beat
- List your five favourite TV programmes. - Vera
- List your five favourite films. - Anything by Quentin Tarrantino, all Topguns, immediately post second ww British films involving aircraft
- Are you wealthy? - nope, did have a near miss with a small company I owned, got very close to serious money but crashed and burned in 2009-10 sadly
- Do you work? If so, as what? - I am a ridiculously over qualified project, programme and portfolio manager. I am also an SME in QMS for my sins, but nobody listens
- List the subjects you study/have studied. - Chemistry
- What do you like most about yourself? - my honesty, my determination to mend myself and my ability to succeed when doubters would have me already dead from excessive consumption
- What do you like least about yourself? - being weak before I am strong, and not doing enough for the poor of society. No matter how much is done it is never enough.
