A lot of info above, but any thing people want to know.. Just ask :)

I was just wondering what people with Type 1's preferences are with injections

I used to be on Novorapid + Levemir

I am now on Novomix 30 (only)

Main reason I liked that changed was it went down from 4+ injections a day, to 2

But I am not that bothered about injecting now, so would the fast acting and slow release be better taken separately now?

Reasons I was thinking this:

1. I don't HAVE to worry about waking up early to have breakfast, as I NEED to take my insulin to allow for lunch
2. I can occasionally snack a little more, or have the amount of dessert I really want!
3. I can carb count a lot better with the fast acting

Your thoughts? :)

Hello mate.

As type 1 for 26 years now I have found levimir and novorapid a god send.

Who wants to get up on a weekend morning because they HAVE to have breakfast!! I'd never go back to 2 injections a day!
