Hello not sure if I should be here???

I'm just confused as to why he never said I had diabetes and also offered no advice. But thankfully everybody on here is so friendly and helpful xx

It's a confusing and upsetting time, but the good news is that you've found the right place for help and support.

Might be worth contacting your gp and ask if you can make an appointment with their diabetes nurse. As far as I know the next tests will be the 3 months check up but it would be helpful for you to know whether you need to try anything in the meantime such as lose weight or whether you just need to make adjustments to your diet.

Try not to worry too much, there is some excellent advice on site which can make a real difference.

Thank you @SueB743 I will do that, I think I'm more upset at the fact I'm not being took seriously I told him I was so tired all the time and extremely exhausted and when he have me the results he said he could not explain the tiredness? But it was obviously because of the diabetes. All as the doctor said was I would need to have another blood test in 3 months. I will call and see if I can speak to the diabetic nurse, I do know I need to lose weight so will try my best to achieve this x

My GP also never told me I was diabetic.
I think some of them struggle to tell you tbh but I like the hard truth and then deal with it.

You'll lose a lot of weight through low carbing. I lost 3 stone by following the advice of successful low carbers on this forum.
Good luck with everything x

I need to lose 3 stone as I'm very over weight at 14st 7lbs I'm 5ft 5 so will deffo go with a low carb diet. I have spent most of the day reading through the forum and picking up some great advice. Thank you again @VinnyJames for your replies :)
