Hello i am mike i live in east yorkshire i am type 2 using insulin i have just joined the group and am looking forward to getting to talk to you .my first question is how muh exersice do other members do at moment i dont do much

im in west yorks,
at the moment i dont do a lot of exercise as im still in pain from a riding accident in may,
have a good look around the forum and ask as many questions as u like :D

Welcome to the forum. Everyone here is really friendly and helpful.

As to exercise, I don't do any formal exercise but try to do the housework and jobs around the garden much more vigorously than before I was diagnosed last year. Going up the stairs more frequently to fetch and carry things.
I have an exercise machine for when I cannot do anything else or eat too many carbs but rarely use it. I do lots of gardening during the warmer weather too.
 
I do resistance exercises each day for 30 minutes, however recently because of an unrelated illness I have scaled that back. Once I am better then it's back to 30 mins a day !!
 
Thanks for your warm welcome i did not know what to put yesterday . I am a 52 year old man with type 2 diabetis i take 3 shots of novarapid aday and one shot of lantas at night. My partner Dianne and i are looking to marry in May we have 7 grandchildren between us 6 girls 1 boy so we wont be short of bridsmaids lol anyway thats about it for now .Again thanks for welcome.
