I'm Sarah and I've been type 1 diabetic for 24 years. I've never joined a forum before but I'm sick of not knowing anyone else the 'same' as me, so here goes! I hope I can get to know some of you and maybe even be a but helpful!

Welcome aboard @smh2990, I know that feeling so well! I spent years in the wilderness until I stumbled across this site. Keep us informed of your progress.

I'm type 1 of 43 years and felt the same as you until fairly recently.

Hi and welcome. There are loads of helpful people on here so ask away. Just remember what works for one doesn't always work for all.
 
Welcome to the forum Sarah. I am Type 2 but there are a lot of Type 1s on here and I expect they will be along to say hello.
