Hello all,
T1 since 2001, several years of tight control, followed by the last few of increasingly poor management.
I have decided to take control, and part of that is signing up to this forum.
Many years ago I was active on alt.support.diabetes.uk, which now seems only populated by spammers. Any other ex-ASDUK members here?

@ianharding . Welcome to the forum. So many have a similar journey like yours I suspect. Everything starts out easy and then reality kicks in and it becomes increasingly harder to maintain control.
At least you are now getting back on track and joining the forum can only benefit you and us.
Not an ex ASDUK.

I have found this forum extremely useful in my efforts to stay focused on regaining control of my diabetes after allowing things to get out of hand for a while.
