Hello there, my name is David i am 19 from Wales.
Recently went to primecare to see what was wrong with me and they said they had to addmit me,
so i stayed in hospital for two nights, and they said im diabetic type 1, i have to take insulin twice a day and sugure levels four times a day.

Im actually really nervous and shocked but life moves on and it will be part of a daily routine in time to come, i have not seen a dietion yet, and don't now what to eat or not to eat, so im like waiting for a letter to see her/him.

Anyway i hope to make some new freinds, and have nice chat with people on here D:

Everyone seems to be out at the moment but people will be along soon. In the meantime, welcome, and have a good read - there is loads of stuff here.

Hope everything gets sorted out really quickly for you and you feel much better. It is a shock to get the diagnosis but you will soon find a way to create normality. :)

You will find that this is a great resource with plenty of helpful information and you can ask about things of which you aren't too sure. 8)
