Hello! My name is Heather and I work for a company that provides free information and support to those with various medical conditions - including type 1 and 2 diabetes. We collaborate with NHS trusts and all of our information is NHS assured and PIF approved.
As someone who has multiple close relatives and friends who have been diagnosed with diabetes, I have seen first-hand how it can affect their day to day lives, and I look forward to seeing our content help wherever possible. I can see that this is an incredibly helpful and friendly community, and I thank you for letting me in! I look forward to learning more about the reality of living with diabetes

Welcome to the forum.

I personally feel that someone learning about living with diabetes is a little like someone picking up a musical instrument for the first time?
The only way to understand about being a member of a band is join one & get the "gigs.."

Being a "groupie" or fan of the "scene" doesn't quite garner the same understanding? The publications by those on the other side of the stage monitors regarding any live event tend to change the initial perspective in the "print."
