Although I have been diagnosed with T2 for approx 13 years I am new to this forum, I decided that perhaps someone could give me a bit of advice, I am a woman at that funny age and despite previously having good control, over the last 10-12 months my readings are all over the place, does anyone know if the menopause could be having any affect ? My doctor is threatening me with some new meds that are injected (not insulin) and I am really stressing about it which I suspect could also be causing problems. HELP put my mind at rest if you can.

Hi and welcome to the forum :D

I'm not at that age just yet but know from reading some posts that people have experienced problems. My periods certainly effect my levels.

As for the injectible drugs, there is lots of information in these two threads, that you might like to read.

Come back and ask as many questions as you like, there is usually someone who can help :D

Thanks for the links, Byetta is the one that the Doctor has mentioned, I have just watched the tutorial and think I will probably cope with it (if I have to).
