Hi my name is Phil and I am experiencing a lot of toe pain when walking and standing to the extent it is very painful. I am still at work for another four years and three months. I and my wife thought it was arthritus or gout and I took medication for gout a few weeks ago and it cleared up eventually.

I am taking pain killers but restricting their use as they are not a desirable regular thing to take.

Currently I am not diabetic, no symptoms other then this are evident. I have my yearly blood test check up coming up very shortly.

Phil.

Hi Phil it could just be arthritis I have it in my feet now I am type 2 diabetic and even more have to keep an eye on them. Do you have the pain all the time or does it go. And come back christine

Thanks for the reply from yesterday. I have my yearly blood test tomorrow and consultation next week. I also suffer from bad circulation as well. Freezing cold feet, fortunately not all the time. Wearing sandals with no socks is lovely but not practical for my job.

I think if it was arthritis the pain would be there all the time.

Phil.
