Hi,
I’m Pauline and I have already posted an initial question elsewhere on the forum without properly introducing myself, so I thought I would now do it properly here.
I’m 55 and moved to France with my husband last year. I spend some time teaching English as a volunteer and have also recently started oil painting as a hobby.
We have three adult children and two very young grandchildren. The family visit regularly and we are both back in the UK a lot, although we sold our house there.
I am not formally diagnosed as diabetic yet. I am having an HbA1c in August and a fasting blood test.
However, I have been reading everything I can about the subject in the meantime and am trying to lose weight and exercise more.
This site is great. Thanks to all of you who post up so much information here. I shall have some more questions later but just wanted to say hello properly.
