Hi jaylee, I don't remember glass syringes but do you remember the finger tester that you pulled back(always reminded me of a slingshot) pressed a button and it fired a lancet at your finger ....used to leave fingers so sore nothing like today's little pens!!
Lol. Indeed. I didn't bother with the device. Opting to just drive the lancet home manually. It was all still "star trek" testing blood for the first time compared to the old practice of peeing in a chemistry set!
Hey just found this... I've been using the noctura for about 2 months as I have prolific in right eye (pretty much no sight) and left is now following - have been having laser for about 7 years and last week was told I may be able to stop for a while... don't want to get too excited but seems an odd coincidence! Anyone else using the mask?
Hi @Lashes , just to say hello from another old timer. I've had type 1 for 32 years and until my current (3rd) pregnancy was on syringes and vials (animal insulin). We do exist. I'll probably switch back again once the baby is born and feeding established. I remember the autolet too. Horrible noise.Good luck with the retinopathy.
