Hello everyone, although I'm new to Diabetics uk forum I'm not new to Diabetes, I was diagnosed with type 1 when 27 (Now 50). I live in Spain and recently my doctor changed my background insulin to Lantus, which seems to be working out OK for me. My blood sugars on waking up are usually around 5. I hope to get some good advice from the forum, as it is sometimes difficult to keep up with things over here, especially with the language, I think sometimes things get a bit lost in translation.
