I notice you've been a member since April 2016 & diagnosed a month prior..

It can take a while to get yer head round this..

What do you wish to know? :) Some of us are sent out with little more than a vauge 3 page leaflet. Some are trained by "Yoda" on an Orange skin....

Hello. Been type 2 since diagnosed in March 16. Managed on glucophage sr 1000 mg twice a day with additional tablets. Lost weight over the last year and struggling with high blood sugars. Finally saw a great endocrinologist who diagnosed me as LADA 1.5. Now on levemir 5 units evenings and novorapid insulin pens 2 units supper and 1 unit breakfast. Struggling with hypos at 4.2 and 4.5. Told not to treat with glucose tablets until 4 and under. I know it’s early days and I need to get my head around type 1 diabetes!!!
