HELP ASAP

@MH2010 hello, and thank you for keeping in touch. I hope everything goes well with the doctors appointment and that he gets some help and answers. :)

Thank you. Thats him just headed out the door now.

Being the good wife I am (LOL), I have wrote a list of things for the Dr, think I should have been a dictor, or mother to an army

Doctor has upped Metfirmin to max dose for the next 3mths, if that doesnt work then we need to start looking at Victoza, etc.

Diet is fine so just need him to start moving off his bum a bit more (doesnt help that I have a knackered knee & usually go gym/swimming together)

Thank you all for your help!!

Do make sure he keeps testing his BGs now, 3 months is rather a long time to wait if they don't fall, or start rising again. It would be good to record them so his GP can see the trends.

I hope your knee gets better soon :)

@zand thanks to my note mentioning him testing, the dr prescribed him test strips so he doesnt have to punch mine so he can test properly.

Got severe tendonitis so on strong pain medication, hopefully it gets better soon cause the tablets make me sleep.

@MH2010 things have started to progress. Keeping a record of blood sugar results is an excellent idea. That will give you evidence of highs and lows. I hope the increased metformin helps.:)

Happy days!

After increasing the amount of Metformin hubby is taking, highest blood yesterday was 10.4 and before bed this morning (still on night shift), it was 7.2.

Thank you all for your help and for stopping me from having a mental breakdown!
