The LCHF was when first diagnosed a year ago, the op was cancelled two weeks ago (ish) when they did the Hba1c of 71, although not low carbing those numbers are not eating with abandon, she is still avoiding the obvious sweet thing and pudding etc, sorry to answer for you Carol, I’m really trying to sit on my handsI’m wondering about LADA too, because it seems to me that those blood sugars that are showing on the Libre graph you (or your sibling) posted look to equate to an HbA1C of WAY more than 71. Which suggests that maybe things have gone downhill very very suddenly, which isn’t really a Type 2 “thing”.
(I suppose the other possibility might be that the 71 was when you were on the lower carb diet? And this graph is from when you’re eating more carbs?). I hope you can get someone to take this seriously and test you, so that you at least know whether you need to be on insulin or not. It seems to me that this has gone a bit beyond the undeniably upsetting “op having to be cancelled”. Those sugars aren’t just a BIT high, they’re very very high.
With @Carol s also present on the thread, I think it's fine for you to help get the complete picture, provided she's ok with it too of course!sorry to answer for you Carol, I’m really trying to sit on my hands
Yes, be concerned. My sugar levels are saying hi now don’t know how concerned I should be just taken 2 glicazide and 2 metformin don’t know how long they take to work ?
If this is a Libre sensor reading, do you have a fingerprick set to confirm? My sugar levels are saying hi now
Maybe A&E will get tests done for T1/LADA. Hope so.Her finger prick and libre gone over max, She had eaten some stew earlier, then two crackers with pate, then nothing for seven hours, I’ve convinced her to go to a&e
Tbh I didn’t know libre could max out
A Libre maxes out at a little lower than most fingerprick meters. Her finger prick and libre gone over max, She had eaten some stew earlier, then two crackers with pate, then nothing for seven hours, I’ve convinced her to go to a&e
Tbh I didn’t know libre could max out
Thank you!I’ve convinced her to go to a&e
No, those tests take longer to come back.Maybe A&E will get tests done for T1/LADA.
