You sound a bit stuck with the cooking and storage.

I find beans keep well, green beans, runner beans,
mushrooms, onions, garlic.
Brocolli, cabbage.
Peppers tomatoes aren't too bad out of the fridge.
Squashs
Dried beans and tinned beans are good for me.
Dried quorn mince was a good standby.
Tinned tomatoes are always handy.
Tinned tuna.
I'm not bad with porridge, but a lot aren't
Livlife bread is better than burgen, but hard to find.
Alpro yoghurt.
If you can fit a slow cooker on the table, you can do a lot of stews, veg, and quorn, herbs and spices to taste, or one pan on a ring.
Tuna and squash, with other vegs, and soices, or thai curry is good.
Bean chili.
A lot of dried herbs and spices, to change the flavour of a basic stock meal.

You really need to eat to your meter though, so if it works for you, eat it, if it doesn't try again.

I've not found it too bad for cost.
A lot of veg, seasonal, not root veg though, as that's quite starchy.
Dried beans.
Flavour from herbs and spices.
Roundpound, poundstretcher, B&M, all good for dried and tinned foods, and a really good range of interesting herbs and spices.

Whatever is on offer anywhere on two for ones.
Throwing nothing out, it gets fridged, (usually veg anyway) then a Friday curry, stew, or chili.
The same stock, say chicken and veg, big pot, split up, - chili powder, it's a chili, curry, it's a curry, herbs, it's a French herb.

Flexible is cheaper too.
No set recipe, whatever veg, whatever beans, whatever meat, with the right spices, herbs, flavours, it's a meal.

You have received a lot of good advice in the earlier posts but I will add my two pennorth. Your bedtime snack might not be helping and I hate to mention it since you say it is a treat. However, as a test try changing it to a slice of ham wrapped round a celery stick for a few nights to see if it helps your morning figure.

The good news is that if it doesn't help then you can go back to your bread and peanut butter.

lol ham and celery just isnt the same lol maybe try not having it atall lol x
