Help: High HbA1C and Can't Conceive

Can anyone help. .. ive been type 1 for 19yrs my hbo1c has always been around the 10 mark . I have had it to 7 when i was about 15yrs old and i kept going into a cona in my sleep. So thay told me to keep my sugers a bit higher. Well ive been trying to get pregnant for the past 7yrs with no success. Everything else is fine ive had scans blood tests , but the doctors are now saying that people with hbo1c of 10 can not get pregnant. Im going to see a diabetic doctor next week .. i was hoping someone else might have been in the same situation

Rather than them suggesting to just run your sugars higher could they not have looked at what insulin regime you are on and worked on adjusting that? That would be my suggestion to them now!what are you on at the moment? I have a pump and swear by it for having good sugar levels, obviously it takes hard work but it's so worth it, there is ways you can prevent severe hypos during the night and just generally running sugars higher I think is a lazy way for your consultant to solve the problem X

Ive been told the pumps work for some people but for what i do for my work and i also work with horses, i just cant have it. Unfortunately ive had sone bad doctors and i just get passed from one to another because thay just cant be bothered with me because as soon as thay see what thay are doing makes me ill thay just pass me on to another person and start over again. The thing is i have no damage to my body at all with it at 10 and ive been told by one doctor that its just normal for me but as its not what it says in the medical books some people cant understand it ( lets just say the only times ive ever been ill is because thay have tried to change this and its not worked) its more the fact i cant seem to get pregnant and thay will not help me. X
