help i feel lost

hello guys i feel lost i hope maybe some sombody is experiencing similar like iv been a diabetic 15+ told type 1 was put on couple year ago mdi before was on humulin m3 im not sure if its just my body or maybe neurological somthing thats preventing my body not dumping glucose im trying to basal test and do everything but i carnt because of this im not trying abuse my body or make my glucose run high but im definate diabetic as when i eat my sugar is raising i honestly carnt but understand why my sugar stays flat when my basal insulin runs out i feel really fed up and feel lost. sorry if im annoying by posting this.
 
Chin up @static192 something's are just sent to try us like I can't work out why at the moment I am running so ****** high.

Maybe you need to read about the insulin your using, you mentioned Humilog M3 which is a mix of long and short acting are you still using it?

If you are it might the reason you are seeing the effects you are us because you are still in the window where the longer acting is working?

Or am I on the wrong track?

From my understanding. (Someone pull me up if I'm wrong.? Back in my youth I was on something simalar'ish.)
A Humulin style regime needs a pretty rigid daily routine with meals & such like..
Personally, I can't see how one can successfully test the actual basal action on Humulin?

Maybe it's time to reconsider MDI. Or posibly a pump?

I don't feel you are "lost." Just the wrong tools to find yer way out..
 
hi sorry i may have wrote it wrong. i was on humulin m3 didnt do bad for some year but on mdi for some unkown reason iv tried basal testing multiple times also let my basal insulin run out but and seems my liver not dumping glucose im on novorapid and levemir seems like i carnt fiquire out why this is iv been having this trouble for many years since on mdi i think maybe could i have some condition maybe this is preventing my liver dumping glucose when i have no basal insulin in my system
