Im scotts mum. Scott is now 11 and he was diagnosed as type 1 at the age of 4. I know what you're going through, shock and despair and thinking you will never cope, but you will! Scott has accepted it a lot better than I have, I still have moments of not coping but they pass, especially with the help you get from people on here, they are all lovely!
I am thinking of you and my heart and love goes out to both of you. Please let me know how you get on today. I am not a medical expert but I will help you all I can, from one type 1 mum to another!
