I recently changed by injection of Lantus from bedtime to before breakfast. Mainly because I was FED UP with nighttime hypos. Now my BG tests during the day are much better, but the night time coverage isn't. I'm getting too high readings in the night and a horribly high result before the next injection. This morning it was 17! Yikes! So frustrating.
I'm seeing my GP tomorrow, but any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Oh, my Lantus dose is 14 units, which I think is right for my weight.
I upped it to 16 this morning.
Grrrrrrrrr. The joys of being diabetic.
