Help needed 23 years old worried About lower limb paralysis

Recently iv been having sudden low blood sugar attacks and the strangest thing is is when these lows come on I can't use my legs it's like they suddenly stop working and my muscles go all stiff it is really frighting and lasts for about 20 minutes and once iv regained use of them my legs and lower back ache all day afterwards I'm worried I will have a stroke or worse become paralyzed one day from one of these attacks what could this be ? And could it cause paralysis ? Iv had numerous blood tests and a MRI scan of my brain and lower back and nothing was found iv also had a emg nerve conduction test on my legs and this didn't show Anything :/ I'm really scared !!!

If it only happens when you have low sugars, theres the cause. People have very different feelings when low. How low were they? Glad you've seen gp and had necessary tests done as its not a usual low sugar symptom.

My sugars were 2.2 so very low but the strange thing is I dont feel hypos as well as I used to and not sure why as I don't have a excess of highs but I do have alot of stress and anxiety which I have heard lowers feelings in hypos my recent a1c was 5.4 so my control is good

Ryann, to get your hypo awareness back you need to run a little high for a couple of weeks ! Good luck buddy !

5.4 is a very good number as long as there not made up of highs and lows to give a false average. How many of these low readings do u get and what meds, insulin are you on?

About 2 lows a week I'm on novarapid 16 units three times daily and lantus at night which is also 16 :/
