Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone takes novarapid and lantus + metformin together ? I’m fairly need to all this (well 5 months in) basically I’m having more and more hypos which is starting to make me feel a bit ******. Any advice? Thank you

It helps if you update your profile with which type you are.

Advice will vary depending on type, diet, other conditions to consider, age weight, activity etc etc etc. the first two being the most relevant usually.

Are you on fixed doses or do you carb count?

While I agree with @HSSS on needing to know your diabetic type, the other question is whether you know how to adjust your insulin doses at all. If you are not confident on this, you should contact your team ASAP to get advice on how to reduce your insulin to avoid the hypos.
