My husband is type 2 diabetic and uses solostar pen. We are planning a trip around the world lasting about 4 months. Will he be ok to use this insulin after it has been in and out of fridges for that length of time.

We did the same last year and I have Solostar too. I bought Frio insulin travel wallets which I used between stops. Everywhere was great about using their fridges. They keep it sufficiently cool not to cause a problem with efficacy. Also can be recharged if you are away from fridges. Worked well for me. A bit pricey but I didn't find anything better - and recommended by my diabetic nurse.
