Help! stomach upset from Metformin

Is this normal? I had the worst headache after dinner (just chicken and veggies from Chipotle nothing else) and took Tylenol....10 minutes later I felt like I was getting a panic attack and had to run to the bathroom with diarrhea...I then felt shaky and very nauseous. It's seems to be subsiding now but my stomach is rumbling. How long does this last? ...it didn't seem to happen the first 2 days and I was only taking 500 a day (the bottle was wrong and the DR told me I need to take it twice a day) it can only get worse twice a day right? The diarrhea happened at work today also but not the nausea....I can handle that part.
 
No I don't think so. It doesn't say slow release? Just Metformin HTC
 
Don't know about HTC at all ... but phone and ask ... slow release is good for many people.
