Kjosh Member Messages 20 Type of diabetes Treatment type Insulin May 7, 2015 #1 I have just started on insulin I am still on medication as well but I am finding it difficult to control my blood sugars. I also have sleep apnoea, and IBS. Eating a lot of veg upsets my IBS. Can anyone suggest what is good to eat.

May 7, 2015 #2 Hi kjosh, We generally find that meat, fish, cheese, eggs, berries, some fruits and olives are good for us. But don't expect too much too soon, it can take a while for BG's to settle down (A couple of months in my case).
