Help with Lantus dose

I'd try splitting the dose and see how you get on.

This was the advice of my doctor. Test before injecting Lantus. If Bs is lower than normal, split the dose. Start on 60/40 and take the second dose before breakfast. Then delay novo rapid dose until 1 hour after breakfast. Again measure Bs and calculate dose accordingly. If evening Bs is higher than normal take the full dose of Lantus.

This advice has worked for me.

Thank you all for your very kind and helpful replies. This forum is VERY useful especially as I don't speak Turkish very well.
For the record I have received excellent treatment under the Turkish health service. In so many ways they provide a better service for less in comparison with the NHS.

The Turks are dead efficient. I've spent months in Turkey and nearly married a Turk, and the efficiency and pride in work always seemed to me positively Teutonic.
