Help with my diabetic dog.

Hi guys don't know if I'm on the right place for diabetic dogs, but my 10 year old collie has devoloped diabetes and we think we have just got him staple. ?? Unfortunately he developed cataracts and he very very quickly completely lost his sight. He's has been referred to have cataracts removed next week. I just wondered if anyone else can give me any comments or advice please. Jan )

Hi and welcome!

We have had a couple of other threads about diabetic dogs, but I am afraid I cannot remember the names of the people, so can't tag them for you. Hopefully one of them will be along soon.

I didn't even know that they did cataract ops on dogs so am really impressed, and expect it will make a huge difference to his life.
