help with posting images

hope this is ok to ask here. i was trying to upload a screenshot in PNG format. Received a message that the file format did not match the extension.

so what did i get wrong this time?

At a guess it's possible that this site does not support PNG images..

You could try converting the image file to to JPEG & see if that works?

You could use a hosting website like I do, I use imgur.

It has no limitations on graphic file types or size like this forums upload service in the bit I quoted from this site.

Upload a File (Max 1 MB):

Accepted file types: zip, txt, pdf, png, jpg, jpeg, jpe, gif

Well worth getting a free account there.

All I know is that new members are not yet able to upload images.You need to have enough permissions.

Top right hand side of the page is your user name @boxing click on that and you will see them them listed under Postings.
